✦ Synopsis
A new method is described which is applicable to the determination of overall formation constants of complexes which show irreversible reduction at the dropping mercury electrode. Values of the formation constants for the six species produced by the interaction between the NiZ+ ion and pyramle are reported and theseare used in further manipulations ofexperimental data. The results are not only consistent with the values of formation constants determined independently but support the chemical/electrochemical mechanism proposed previously.
