Abstract
The longβterm application of low levels of cathodal direct current to the growing deer antler produced abnormal branching patterns and antlers which grew in atypical directions. The experimental antlers were significantly reduced in length when compared to control antlers.

The understanding of the biological effects of estrogen on the vessel wall has improved dramatically since the discovery of estrogen receptors (ERs). Most, but not all estrogen-mediated effects in blood vessels are thought to be mediated by ERs. Two major ER subclasses have been characterized so far
## Abstract The effect of a pulsed direct current electric field on the membrane flux of an antifouling Membrane Bioreactor (MBR) designed and built in the laboratory was studied. The results showed that a pulsed direct current electric field had a significant effect on the membrane flux. The avera

This paper reviews the work made by the group of the present author on the effect of impurities on the kinetics of crystal growth in solutions. The impurity effect is here discussed in the light of the model proposed by Kubota and Mullin [J. Crystal Growth, 152 (1995) 86], in which impurities are as
