✦ Synopsis

Abstract

The dual effect of averaging wind‐fluctuation data and subsequent sampling over periods of specified duration modifies the full spectrum of turbulence at both high frequencies and low frequencies. The nature of the wave filtering so implied has been known and used for some years, but apparently the derivation of the mathematical form of this filter so far has not been set down in the literature in a completely satisfactory form. This note is an attempt to meet this need.

Chemical turbulent mixing can affect the internal distribution of __ΞΌ__ near the energy generating core, having an effect on the evolutionary tracks similar to that of overshooting. This mixing
