A new methodology to incorporate the effect of failure mechanisms into interconnection circuit performance simulation is developed. The effect of corrosion on the performance of high speed multi-chip module interconnects has been investigated. The method presented in this paper may be applied to the

โฆ Synopsis
This paper describes a compiler for transforming serial programs into parallel form, and studies the importance of several transformations. An array machine is selected as the target architecture. A Set of programs is compiled and their execution time is measured by simulation. The transformations are evaluated by their effect on the execution time.

Least-squares regression analysis is widely used in analytical method comparison studies even though model assumptions are typically violated. The advantages favoring the use of the least-squares technique, when applicable, are that its theoretical characteristics are thoroughly developed and the ca
The past decade has seen explosive growth in database technology and the amount of data collected. Advances in data collection, use of bar codes in commercial outlets, and the computerization of business transactions have flooded us with lots of data. We have an unprecedented opportunity to analyze
