β¦ Synopsis
Abstract
The velocity and shape of growth layers on the {100} faces of ammonium dihydrogen phosphate (ADP) crystals growing in aqueous solution at __p__H = 5.0 are compared with those previously reported for growth at __p__H = 3.8. The results are interpreted in terms of the adsorption of hydrated hydroxonium ions on the crystal surface.

The experimental results of an investigation of the surface morphology of the as-grown (100) faces of KDP single crystals grown on seeds from aqueous solutions containing different concentrations of Fe 3+ and Cr 3+ impurities are described and discussed. It was found that the behaviour of steps in t
## Abstract The combined effects of supersaturation and Ba^2+^ on potassium dihydrogen phosphate (KDP) were investigated in batch cooling suspension crystallization. Growth size, morphology, and impurity Ba^2+^ adsorbed in the KDP crystals were measured with changing Ba^2+^ concentration and supers
## Abstract Faces of threeβdimensional crystals have been divided into edge and corner ones to describe the phenomenon of their disappearance and appearance during the crystal growth. The expression for the critical growth velocity governing the presence of corner faces has been derived and verifie
This paper reviews the work made by the group of the present author on the effect of impurities on the kinetics of crystal growth in solutions. The impurity effect is here discussed in the light of the model proposed by Kubota and Mullin [J. Crystal Growth, 152 (1995) 86], in which impurities are as
