We carried out an investigation on the influence of several alkylamines, frequently present in reactions carried out in microemulsions, on the properties of the water/AOT/isooctane system. The presence of alkylamines has an important effect on the electrical percolation phenomena. This effect of ami

Abstract
Experimental investigations on the cosurfactant effect of alkali and tetraalkylammonium choleates in water/AOT/cyclohexane (W/O)โmicroemulsions were carried out. The results prompted considerations on a thermodynamic and molecular level. The molecular view emphasizes the significance of hydration interactions between cosurfactant and solubilized water.

Solubilization of cytochrome \(c\) (cytc) in the water-in-oil microemulsion (ME) phase of bis(2-ethylhexyl) sulfosuccinate (AOT) was strongly time-dependent. An early quasi-equilibrium state was observed for systems produced by both phase transfer and injection. In the quasi-equilibrium state, large
The limiting amounts of solubilized aqueous NaCl, NaNO 3 , MgCl 2 , and AlCl 3 in sodium 1,2-bis-(2-ethylhexyloxycarbonyl)-1ethanesulfonate (aerosol OT)/isooctane solutions have been measured as a function of the ionic strength of the electrolytes. In any system, the limiting amounts increased up to
