โœฆ Synopsis

Abstract

Experimental investigations on the cosurfactant effect of alkali and tetraalkylammonium choleates in water/AOT/cyclohexane (W/O)โ€microemulsions were carried out. The results prompted considerations on a thermodynamic and molecular level. The molecular view emphasizes the significance of hydration interactions between cosurfactant and solubilized water.

We carried out an investigation on the influence of several alkylamines, frequently present in reactions carried out in microemulsions, on the properties of the water/AOT/isooctane system. The presence of alkylamines has an important effect on the electrical percolation phenomena. This effect of ami

Solubilization of cytochrome \(c\) (cytc) in the water-in-oil microemulsion (ME) phase of bis(2-ethylhexyl) sulfosuccinate (AOT) was strongly time-dependent. ## Abstract The water activity and its temperature dependence as a function of the amount of water in the L~2~โ€phase of the (water/Aerosol OT/isooctane)โ€system (s. __Exper. Part__) was determined with the help of a differential pressure gauge and a precision cathetometer. A theoretical approach bas
