✦ Synopsis
The double layer impedance between a perfectly polarixable metallic electode and an electrolyte exhibits anomalous behavior as a function of frequency o. This behavior is related to the surface roughness of the electrode. We introduce a random walk algorithm for calculating this frequency behavior as a power series in (1 -io)-I. We apply this algorithm to the calculation of the impedance of a two dimensional slot and of fractal aggregates: in the first case the calculated impedance shows the expected o -'j2 constant phase angle (CPA) behavior. The impedance of the aggregates shows more complex behavior.
