We report on room-temperature laser actions of a novel thulium-doped crystal Tm:Lu2SiO5 (LSO) under diode pumping. An optical-optical conversion efficiency of 12% and a slope efficiency of 21% were obtained with the maximum continuous-wave (CW) output power of 0.67 W. The emission wavelengths of Tm:

We report the continuous wave Ho:LuAG laser operated at room temperature. Using the diode-pumped Tm:YLF laser as a pumping source, maximum output power of 8.5 W at 2100 nm was obtained under the incident pump power of 18.4 W, corresponding to a slope efficiency of 51.3% and a conversion efficiency o
We report the room temperature continuous wave Ho:YAP laser double-pass pumped by a diode-pumped Tm:YLF laser. Continuous wave output power of 10.2 W at 2118 nm was obtained under the incident pump power of 19.4 W, corresponding to a slope efficiency of 64.0% and a conversion efficiency of 52.6%. Th
