โฆ Synopsis
The emission produced by sulfite on oxidation by permanganate in acidic solution in the presence of riboflavin phosphate or brilliant sulfaflavine is used to determine 0.9-35 ng of sulfite. Only sulfide and thiosulfate also give emissions.

A method is described for the determination of tryptophan in which it reacts with cerium(IV) in 0.15 M sulphuric acid. The method is rapid and precise and solutions can be analysed at a rate of 211 h-i with a relative standard deviation of ca. 0.45% at 12.5 pg ml-' and a limit of detection of 0.1 pg
An novel analytical method consisting of flow-injection sampling and chemiluminescence (CL) detection for determination of anticancer drug hydroxycamptothecinum (HCPT) is described. It is based on the CL reaction of potassium permanganate-formaldehyde-HCPT system. The formaldehyde-sensitized CL emis
The main purpose of this study was to develop an inexpensive, simple, rapid and sensitive chemiluminescence (CL) method for the determination of glutamine (Gln) using a flow-injection (FI) system. Gln was found to strongly inhibit the CL signal of the luminol-H 2 O 2 -CuSO 4 system in Na 2 B 4 O 7 s
