✦ Synopsis

The double-ionization energies of several scrics of diatomic ncutml species arc detcrmincd using measured values of the differences between single-nnd double-ionization energies. The results are found to be linearly dependent on the differences in the single-ionization energies of the atoms. Previously unmeasured values arc predicted from the relationships established.
