The high resofution photoelectron spectrum of CS has been obtained. Ionization potrntkds are found nt 11.34 (Xk), 17.78 (A\*lB, 15.83 (Bzc) and 18.03 (C'X) eV, and a spin-orbit bT;plitting of 278 cm-' is observed on the second band.

## Abstract Proton magnetic resonance spectra at 60 MHz are reported for 9, 9′‐biphenanthryl, 1‐phenylfluoranthene, 9‐benzylphenanthrene, 1‐, 4‐ and 9‐phenylphenanthrenes and 9‐methyl‐10‐phenylphenanthrene, all in CS~2~ solution. Approximate values of some of the chemical shifts and coupling consta
The infrared spectrum of vinyl fluoride (CH 2 |CHF ) has been investigated in the region 390-590 cm 01 at room temperature and at a resolution of 0.0016 cm 01 using a Fourier transform spectrometer. The rovibrational analysis of the spectral features allowed us to assign about 11 000 lines (J £ 60)
The high-resolution infrared absorption spectrum of the fundamental band of CF radical has been measured with an FTIR spectrometer. Reliable molecular constants of the vibrationally excited state have been obtained. The vibrational transition dipole moment has been estimated, via Herman-Wallis theor
