## Abstract The ABEEM/MM model (atom‐bond electronegativity equalization method fused into molecular mechanics) is applied to study of the polypeptide conformations. The Lennard–Jones and torsional parameters were optimized to be consistent with the ABEEM/MM fluctuating charge electrostatic potenti
