Abstract

The spermatogenesis of the domestic mouse has been studied. There are forty chromosomes in spermatogonia and twenty in primary spermatocytes. The sex chromosomes are of the usual Xโ€Y type. Especial attention has been devoted to the study of chromosome morphology, both in spermatogonia and in primary spermatocytes.
