โœฆ Synopsis

The preparation of NaS02CF3, KS02CF3 and AgS02CF3 from HS02CF3 and the corresponding carbonates is described. CF3S(0)N[Si(CH3)3]2 or CF3S(0)NHSi(CH3)3 react with SOC12 to form CF3S(0)N=S=0. A compound with two sulfur atoms in oxidation state +4. The reaction products of CF3S(0)NC0 with CHSOH, CHICOOH, (CH3)2NH, (C2H5)2NH, CF3S(0)NH2 and CF3S02NH2 are reported. In contrast to N[Si(CH3)3]3 the tin analog reacted with CF3S(0)C1 to CF3S(0)OSn(CH3)3. CF3S(0)NHC(O)OCH3

The reaction of liquid hydrogen fluoride with nitrous acid, dinitrogen trioxide, dinitrogen tetroxide, and nitrosyl compounds leads to unexpectedly high-boiling liquids which contain nitrosyl fluoride in the form oj-remarkably stable, electrolytically dissociated hydrogen fluoride solvates. Nitrosyl
