## Abstract A simple solidβstate NMR method was used to study the structure of ^13^Cβ and ^15^Nβenriched silk from two Australian orbβweb spider species, __Nephila edulis__ and __Argiope keyserlingi.__ Carbonβ13 and ^15^N spectra from alanineβ or glycineβlabeled oriented dragline silks were acquire

β¦ Synopsis
The solid state conformation of the amorphous catalyst cyclo-[(S)-His-(S)-Phe] is
determined by a combination of solid state tH and 13C NMR techniques. The results provide strong evidence in support of the previously proposed mechanism for the asymmetric addition of HCN to aldehydes catalysed by this dipeptide.

Double-quantum heteronuclear local field NMR is performed on a sample of a 13C2-labeled disaccharide, in which the two 13C spins are located on opposite sides of the glycosidic linkage. The evolution of the double-quantum coherences is found to be consistent with the solid-state conformation of the
