The composition of carrot seed oil has been studied using gas-liquid chromatography separation of components and characterisation by infra-red absorption and mass spectrometry. Evidence was found for the identities of 23 components. Of these, camphene, a-terpinene, terpinena4o1, a-terpineol, bornyl
