โœฆ Synopsis


A fracture mechanics approach has been used to predict the approximate extent of cracking in a prestressed concrete pressure vessel subject to overpressure. The stress intensity factor has been calculated by means of the crack closure work concept and finite element stress analysis for a range of crack lengths. By comparing these results wlth published pseudo fracture toughness data for concrete the extent of cracking has been predicted. Um das zu erwartende AusmaB der RiBblldung in elnem vorgespannten Betondurckbeh~iter bel Uberlastung vorhersagen zu k~nnen, wurden Methoden der Bruchmechanlk herangezogen. Der SpannungslntensltHts faktor wurde mlt Hllfe der Methods der Arbelt zur ItIBschlleBung und elner Spannungsanalyse unter Verwendung flnlter Elements berechnet. Der EinfluB der Rl~lHnge wurde betrachtet.
