✦ Synopsis

The performance of composite spherical or cylindrical single pellets containing ZSM-5 particles uniformly distributed in amorphous silica-alumina for catalytic cracking is examined experimentally and theoretically. The cracking of n-hexane over composite pellets is employed as the probe reaction. Steadystate analytical solutions for the concentration profiles of the reactant, the effectiveness factor of the pellets and the yields of the produced species are calculated. The shape, the size and the amount of zeolite in the comrmsite oarticles are used as parameters. The comparison between theory and experiment shows ImODUCTION Composite catalytic particles have been used extensively in several industrial processes during the last years. The catalytic cracking of gas oil over X or Y faujasites embedded in an amorphous silicaalumina matrix (

## Abstract Summary: A new procedure was developed to support [(ArNο£ΎC(Me))~2~C~5~H~3~N]FeCl~2~ (Arο£Ύ2,4,6‐trimethylphenyl) on spherical MgCl~2~ for ethylene polymerization. The resultant catalysts showed ten times higher activity of the corresponding catalyst in homogeneous catalysis. The morphologi
