## Abstract The composition and stability of aluminiumโalizarin 3โsulphonate chelate has been studied by spectrophotometric and electrical conductance measurements. The red coloured chelate (ฮป~max~ 470 mฮผ) has a composition 1:2 (metal: chelating agent). The chelate is stable between pH 2.5 and 4.5.
