✦ Synopsis
Abstract
A method for the determination of microgram quantities of aluminium using Alizarin Red S (sodium alizarin‐3‐sulphonate) has been studied and modified for use with digests of Hevea leaves. The effects of iron, pH and digestion have been clarified. The reagent gives a very reproducible and linear response up to 150 μg of aluminium.
