In the title compound, C 22 H 26 O 2 Se 2 , there are two selenoxide groups, and the two SeÐO bonds point in opposite directions. The Se 2 C 2 ring is not planar, having a dihedral angle between the two triangular C 2 Se planes of 152.9 (3) .
