✦ Synopsis
The asymmetric unit of the title complex, (C~4~H~16~N~3~)~4~[Fe(CN)~6~]~3~·8H~2~O, comprises two [H~3~N(CH~2~)~2~NH~2~(CH~2~)~2~NH~3~]^3+^ cations, 1.5 octahedral [Fe(CN)~6~]^4−^ anions and four solvent water molecules; one anion is located on a center of inversion. Extensive hydrogen bonding of the types O—H...O, N and N—H...N, involving all components of the structure, leads to a three-dimensional array.
