The title compound, {(C 5 H 7 N 2 ) 4 [Mo 8 O 26 ]} n , contains extended [Mo 8 O 26 ] n 4nÀ chains, built up from distorted MoO 6 octahedra sharing vertices and edges. A network of N-HÁ Á ÁO hydrogen bonds helps to stabilize the crystal packing.
