In the centrosymmetric title compound, [Cd(NCS) 2 -(C 6 H 8 N 2 ) 4 ], the Cd II atom is in a distorted octahedral environment. The crystal structure is stabilized by N-HÁ Á ÁS hydrogen bonds and weak N-HÁ Á Á and C-HÁ Á Á interactions.
