## Abstract New N‐(3, 5 substituted 2,4,6‐triiodobenzoyl)‐amino acids have been synthesized as potential __X__‐ray contrast agents for chloecystography. Toxicity, bilitropism, urotropism, and cholecystographic quality of these compounds are given.
