Abstract

New N‐(3, 5 substituted 2,4,6‐triiodobenzoyl)‐amino acids have been synthesized as potential X‐ray contrast agents for chloecystography. Toxicity, bilitropism, urotropism, and cholecystographic quality of these compounds are given.

## Abstract Ausgehend von dem leicht zugänglichen __N__‐TFA‐L‐Glutaminsäure‐1‐äthylester erhält man über das Säurechlorid und das Diazoketon durch alkalische Abspaltung des Trifluoracetylrestes und Verseifung der Estergruppe in guter Ausbeute das kristalline Antibiotikum 6‐Diazo‐5‐oxo‐L‐norleucin.
