By sulfur abstraction from a-P 4 S 9 /P 4 S 10 with triphenylphosphine a new phosphorus sulfide d-P 4 S 7 with adamantane skeleton and an additional sulfur in exo-position was identified in CS 2 -solution by 31 P-NMR spectroscopy. Product distribution and 31 P-NMR parameter are given.
