โฆ Synopsis
THE author has recorded the decrease of a field trapped in a Nb3Sn hollow cylinder with increasing temperature, and found the trapped field to be approximately proportional to (1 -T/Te). In the range of field strength examined, the relation ~z = J~(H + Bo) was followed approximately; the resulting quadratic expression c~e ~ ~e0(1 -T/Te) 2 could not have been derived from the Anderson-Kim theory assuming constant parameters. The author found that Nb3Sn cylinders with very thin walls showed equal temperature dependence of the trapped field and he therefore concludes that the parameter B0 is also proportional to (1 -TITs).
