The major objective is to encourage practising engineers to prepare manuscripts of about 4 to 12 printed pages. These contributions may not include details of the (available) procedures used, but rather concentrate on the specific problem solved, factors that required use of numerical and/or analytical procedure(s), determination of stress-strain parameters, and results including analysis and design and correlations with conventional design methods and observations.
In order to maintain a balance between theory and application oriented papers in the journal, we plan to expedite the review and publication of papers involving practical applications.
