The synthesis of P,P'-dimesityl-P,P'-diphenyldiphosphine and benzylmesitylphenylphosphine is described as well as the resolution of the latter ligand by means of homochiral organometallic complexes. The absolute configuration of the phosphine is assigned by NMR spectra, using the homochiral palladac
