**Synthesis of acetylenic alcohols by alkylation of ω‐hydroxy‐1‐alkynes** In liquid ammonia and with lithium amide, the alkylation of an ω‐hydroxyl‐alkyne proceeds with good yield with primary or secondary alcohols and with fair yield with tertiary alcohols. It is a very convenient way to prepare m
