1,6-Diazaphenalene and its derivatives containing methyl, bromo, chloro, phenyl, and 2pyridyl substituents form charge-transfer complexes with TCNQ. Relatively highly electrical conductive complexes (0.1 Scm -1) with small activation energy around 0.05 eV was obtained.
