4-Fluoro

-l-[l-(2-thienyl)-3-cyclohexenyl)lpiperidine was efficiently synthesized in four steps starting from cyclohexane-1,4-dione monoethylene ketal. Catalytic tritiation of this key intermediate in the final step afforded the title compound.
