Silylated t.iiFnyl curboxylic esters can be synthesized with high stereoselectivity by the reaction of 3-tri-i~ieth~~lsilyl-2-propynylide~ietriphenylarsorane, generated in sitif from the corresponding arsonium salt with 11-hirtvllithiitin and a-bromoacetic esters.
