✦ Synopsis
Poly[1,1-bis(trimethylsilyloxy)-3,3,5,5-tetramethyltrisiloxane], the first linear polysiloxane in which each third silicon atom of the polymer backbone is a tetrafunctional SiO 2 (Q) unit, has been prepared by anionic ring-opening polymerization of 1,1-bis(trimethylsilyloxy)-3,3,5,5-tetramethylcyclotrisiloxane.
