✦ Synopsis
Novel oligoperoxides a-hydro-o-hydroperoxyoligo(dioxydimethylmethylene-1,4-phenylenedimethylmethylene) (BPB) (T, = 143 "C, Td = 176 "C), a-hydro-w-hydroxyoligo(dioxydimethylmethy1enel,4-phenylenedimethylmethylenedioxydimethylmethyleneethylenedimethylmethylene) (EPB) (T, := 100 "C, Td = 175 "C) and a-hydro-o-hydroperoxyoligo(dimethylmethylene-2,6-naphthylenedimethyl~~ethyle ne (NPN) (T, = 137 "C, Td = 177 "C), the products of condensation of tertiary diols with tertiary dihydroperoxides, were obtained. The structure of the oligoperoxides was confirmed by spectroscopic methods (IK, NMR). Their thermal properties were studied by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), and the mechanism of the thermal decomposition of the oligomeric peroxides was proposed basing on the GC-MS analysis of the degradation products.
