✦ Synopsis
New nitrogen-containing ligands derived from the (1R,2R)-trans-cyclohexanediamine chiral core unit have been synthesized and fully characterized. Their catalytic activity was tested in the asymmetric addition of diethylzinc to aldehydes leading to the respective secondary alcohols with enantioselectivities of up to 74% ee.
