## Abstract The 4,5‐dihydro‐1,2,4‐triazole Schiff base derivatives were synthesized with 4‐amino‐4,5‐dihydro‐3‐(phenoxy‐ methyl)‐1__H__‐1,2,4‐triazole‐5‐thione and substituted benzaldehydes. The chemical structures of the compounds have been confirmed by ^1^H NMR, IR spectra and elemental analysis.

1,2,4-Triazole-3,5-diamine derivatives were synthesized in moderate to high yields in one-pot reaction from the corresponding isothiocyanates, mono-substituted hydrazines, and sodium hydrogencyanamide, in the presence of 1-(3-dimethylaminopropyl)-3-ethylcarbodiimide hydrochloride. Typically, two tar
