## Abstract The enantioselective synthesis of (__S__)‐(+)‐2‐tridecanol acetate [(__S__)‐6] (ee = 93.5%), an aggregation pheromone of __Drosophila mulleri__, is described. Key steps are the α‐alkylation of the propiophenone SAMP‐hydrazone (__S__)‐2 (de ≥ 96%) and the Baeyer‐Villiger reaction of the
