✦ Synopsis

In a search for new antihypertensives, a series of oximino-esters and -ethers of 4,4'-bis(dirnethylarnino) benzophenone oxirne and 4,4'-bis(diethylamino)bnzophenone oxime were prepared. The synthesis of oximino-esters and -ethers was accomplished by esterifications and o-alkylations of the above oximes. In the course of this investigation, 12 new compounds were synthesized and evaluated for their antihypertensive activity.
