Giant MFI zeolite crystals up to %4 mm were synthesized from a piece of quartz glass tube as the silica source under hydrothermal conditions. Large crystals of zeolites with other frameworks, such as ANA, JBW, CAN and SOD were also synthesized under similar preparation procedures.
