## Abstract (1__R__)โ€(1โ€Acetamidoโ€2โ€phenylethyl)boronic acidโ€1โ€^13^C, which is the boron analogue of __N__โ€acetylphenylalanine, has been synthesized via a modification of the route previously established for the unlabelled compound. The ^13^C label is derived from dichloromethaneโ€^13^C. The previou
