✦ Synopsis
Scheme I (6.13) ofthe Kohonen map trained with the complete xanthene library.
Nine xanthene derivatives that were grouped together into neuron It would be interesting to compare the result of this kind of similarity analysis with activity data as well. Unfortunately only for two of the xanthene library compounds[3b1 is the exact activity known. We have found that 41 compounds were grouped together with the most potent trypsin inhibitor into one neuron of the Kohonen net. In our opinion, these 41 compounds would be worthwhile targets for further testing.
