A series of binary and ternary ram earth (Gd, Eu, Tb) complexes with mUI0 hydroxyl benwic acid, porn aminobenzoic acid, nicotinic acid and 1,lO-phenanthroline were syntheaised. Phob pbomcence spectra and lifetimes of Gd complexes were measured and the lowent triplet state enerpia of gadolinium binary complexa and the intramolecular energy transfer e5ciencies nsre determined.
