## Abstract Graft copolymers of acrylamide on cellulose materials (α‐cellulose 55.8%, DP 287.3) obtained from __Terminalia superba__ wood meal and its carboxymethylated derivative (DS 0.438) were prepared using a ceric ion initiator and batch polymerization and modified batch polymerization process
