## Abstract magnified image An efficient oneβpot access for the synthesis of the previously unreported tetracyclic fused pyrimidoβ[4β³,5β³:4β²,5β²]thieno[3β²,2β²:4,5]thieno[3,2β__d__]pyrimidine (**3**) and 1,2,3βtriazine[4β³,5β³:4β²,5β²]thienoβ[3β²,2β²:4,5]thienoβ[3,2β__d__]β1,2,3βtriazine (**5**) heteroaroma
In an attempt to discover bicyclic compounds containing the 1,2,1,2,2,4-triazine-5-thiones from one pot reaction of arylnitriles with 4-amino-1,2,4-triazine-3-thione-5-one in the presence of potassium tert-butoxide were synthesized.
The pyrazolo [3,4-d][1,2,3]triazin-4-ones 3 and imidazo [4,5-d][1,2,3]triazin-4-ones 4 are analogs structurally related to purines that have showed a wide and significant variety of biological activity. These compounds were synthesized by one-pot diazotization of 5-amino-1H-pyrazole-4-carbonitriles
