## Abstract The Mg__~x~__ Ni~1−__x__~ Sm~0.02~Fe~1.98~O~4~ ferrites were prepared by the solid‐state reaction method and were characterized by X‐ray diffraction and magnetization measurements. A single spinel phase was obtained in all prepared samples. It was found that the lattice parameter increa
