✦ Synopsis
Abstract
A novel α,ω‐heterofunctional poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO) macromonomer possessing methacryloyl and thienyl end groups was prepared by ring‐opening polymerization of ethylene oxide initiated by potassium thienylethoxide and termination of the living PEO ends with methacryloyl chloride. Incorporation of methacryloyl and thienyl groups was confirmed by free‐radical and oxidative polymerization processes, respectively, and by means of ^1^H NMR analysis.

## Abstract Summary: Two series of novel __α__,__ω__‐perfluoroalkyl terminated esters of poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO) (R~F~‐PEO) having the general structure C~__m__~F~2__m__+1~COO(CH~2~CH~2~O)~__n__~OCC~__m__~F~2__m__+1~, with __m__ = 1,2,3,4 or 5 have been synthesized. The influences of the P
Bi-graft copolymers of poly(methyl methacrylate)-graft-[poly(ethylene oxide); poly(propylene oxide)] were synthesized by radical copolymerization of two macromonomers, viz. poly(ethylene oxide) methacrylate and poly(propylene oxide) methacrylate, with methyl methacrylate. The macromonomers were prep
