Macroporous beads containing N-vinyl-tertio-butyl carbamate (NVTBC) have been prepared by suspension copolymerization using divinylbenzene as crosslinking agent. After solvolysis, parent copolymers containing vinylamine (VA) were functionalized by b-cyclodextrin ( b-CD) using the mono-tosyl derivati

β¦ Synopsis
The reaction of diamines with dihalides in basic medium was carried out, leading to the formation of different varieties of both cyclic and acyclic products. In this work, the reaction was directed to form mainly one of them by reacting different diamines with both dichloroethane and dichloromethane as alkylating agents, using two techniques which were compared with each other. The obtained oligomeric products were characterized by using spectroscopic and elemental analyses.

Homopolymers and copolymers of acrylamide (AA) and acrylic acid (AAc) were synthesized by the free radical solution polymerization technique. Feed ratios of the monomers were 85 : 15 (w/w), 65 : 35 (w/w), and 50 : 50 (w/w) of acrylamide and acrylic acid, respectively, for synthesis of copolymers. Al
Conducting crystalline polyazomethine polymers with high solubility and low melting points have been prepared and studied. The polymers were synthesized by the polycondensation of p-phenylene diamine and 2-nitro-pphenylene diamine with terephthaldehyde and p-diacetylbenzene. Polymers with polar func
In continuation of our endeavor to develop synthetic resins of improved properties and performance, we report here the synthesis of mixed copolymer resins by the condensation of resorcinol, aniline, and formaldehyde with ortho-, meta-, and para-phenylenediamine separately.
