β¦ Synopsis
Improved methods for the preparation of 99m Tc-radiopharmaceuticals containing dithiobenzoate ligands, in sterile and pyrogen free conditions, are described. These procedures are based on the reaction of these ligands either with [ 99m Tc] pertechnetate in the presence of a strong reducing agent (HCl/ tertiary phosphine, SnCl 2 Γ 2H 2 O), or with pre-reduced complexes obtained from different kit formulations. All the preparations led to the high-yield formation of the neutral and lipophilic 99m Tc-complex [ 99m Tc][Tc(S 3 CPh) 2 (S 2 CPh)], which is analogous to the corresponding compounds obtained with rhenium and the long-lived b-emitting isotope technetium-99 g recently described. HPLC analysis and thin layer chromatography were used to confirm the characterisation of the resulting 99m Tc-radiopharmaceutical which was found to be potentially suitable for blood-cell labelling as applied to the

## Abstract A novel and efficient method for preparing ^99m^Tcβcomplexes of radiopharmaceuticals has been developed by reacting [^99m^Tc]pertechnetate with a ligand in the presence of borohydride exchange resin (BER) as a reducing agent. The latter is stable over a wide range of pH (2β11) and thus
## Abstract Coagulation in blood is initiated when coagulation factor VII (FVII) binds to exposed TF and is activated to FVIIa, and the TF/FVIIa complex may therefore provide a marker of vascular injury potentially applicable in diagnostic imaging of acute gastrointestinal (GI) bleeding. Methods: R
